Great Americans of the Twentieth Century

Tuesday was a good day, bad night, good day. Grandma and Grandpa Utah, Stan's Mom and Dad, came into town to stay the week with us. We have such a crazy busy week for the kids they came to hang with us and be here for their munchkins.The crazy week started today. Every year the kids involved in the gate program at school put on a musical. They have been practicing multiple times a week since February. Olivia has had a great time being involved and already can not wait until next year! This year the musical was "Great Americans of the Twentieth Century".They did such a great job, it was a readers theater and it was entertaining, funny, impressive, etc., etc. Olivia was Albert Einstein, the perfect part for her with her crazy hair.
The good day, bad night happened afterward when we were walking home. Actually during the play she just looked sad up on stage, tired, by the time we got home and I gave her a kiss goodnight while tucking her into bed she was on fire. The poor thing had not felt good all day but didn't tell me for fear she wouldn't be able to perform. Her temp was 104, crazy! Sure enough after going to the doctor the next day she tested positive for strep. What is it with that girl. She always gets strep. Ugh! That means no cast party tomorrow for her. So sad.

Grandpa Utah came to watch!

Olivia with the two teachers that put the musical together. They are her favorite too by the way. Mrs. Mokler is Olivia's home room teacher and Mrs. Shafferman is her math teacher.
