Character Counts!

Three times a year at our elementary school there is a school assembly and each teacher gives out a "Character Counts" award to a person in their classroom! This past week we were so excited when we received an invitation to this assembly because two of our kids were receiving awards, Sophie and Isabella! They keep it a secret from the kids until it is announced at the assembly. Sophie was so funny when she saw me sitting in the back of the room she knew exactly what that meant and couldn't wipe the grin off of her face! The poor thing as she sat there with such anticipation her teacher was very last. We both thought that she was going to burst!
We are so proud of all three of our kids! They do have great friends and are so good to others around them! They are all very successful in school both academically and socially!
Congratulations Sophie and Isabella! We are excited for you! We also got to see two of my nieces receive awards. Congratulations Lacey and Gabrielle!

Miss Guy said about Isabella, "You treat your friends with respect. You are a very kind and loving person!"
Miss Bartlette said about Sophie, "Sophie demonstrates considerate behavior to all she meets. She never forgets her manners. In fact, showing respect has become second nature to her."
Here is the video of Sophie receiving her award.
