T is for TRANSPORTATION

IAN loves riding his race bike!
At Ian's preschool they practice a different letter every week. A couple of weeks ago it was the letter T. The last day of the week they had a TRANSPORTATION DAY! Every one brought some form of transportation. Ian was very proud of the fact that he had the only two wheeler. He isn't competitive or anything. Ya, right. Every time someone else showed up to school he would lean over and whisper to me, "they have training wheels too". At least he knew to whisper, little bugger.
They had a lot of fun onTRANSPORTATION day. Instead of the normal first 30 minutes of inside play, they got to go outside and ride whatever it is they brought. Ian enjoyed showing off, of course.

All of their art projects that day had to do with, yup, TRANSPORTATION.
Here he is painting a very cute  race car.

They also got to decorate their bikes for TRANSPORTATION day. Ian thought the balloons were dumb, they just got in the way.

Then they got to ride their bikes in a big bike parade that all of the parents attended.

It was a fun day to work in the classroom. Aren't they the cutest things that you have ever seen? I can't believe that next year he will be too big for preschool. *sigh*

It was a share day for Ian. What did he share? His 3rd place trophy of course. He LOVES winning trophies. He gets so nervous in front of his class but he is always grinning from ear to ear.

He also got picked to lead the Pledge of Allegiance on TRANSPORTATION day.
