DECK THE HALLS!

So, last Monday night, yes, over a week ago now we decided it was time to deck our halls! It started with Ian's preschool Christmas performance. Ian is only in Mom and Tot, which is part of the preschool and they did a perfect rendition of Chubby Little Snowmen! Christmas songs and Christmas cookies put us in the mood to get home and get going on our tree!
Scott and Ian after their big performance!
One of my very favorite Christmas traditions ( Thank You Mom!) is decorating the Christmas Tree! The night we decorate the tree everyone in the family gets a new ornament which represents something that they accomplished or reminds them of their year! The kids are excited with anticipation to see what their ornament might be and it continues as we decorate the tree with past ornaments and remember past years! It is such a special evening and so much fun to reminisce about years gone by.
Isabella got a little school scene from the Peanuts. It is her first year in Kindergarten and Lucy sitting in her desk kind of looks like Bella Bug!Olivia officially has her first obsession, JOE JONAS! She was most excited with her ornament with a picture of him on it. On her Christmas List she has asked for anything and everything Joe Jonas!Sophie impressed us all this year as she seriously swam her heart out! We do a summer swim team each year, but because she swam so fast it didn't end for her at the end of summer because she kept qualifying for meets! Who knew!If you have ever seen Ian you have seen him with his red motorcycle. Last year for Christmas he received a red motorcycle that he rides everywhere! It even goes in the car with us sometimes, no a lot of times. and good thing we (well, Andrea) found a red motorcycle with Mickey Mouse on it! About 5 of the 7 days a week when you ask Ian what he wants to do today he says, "go to Disneyland"! Also if there is one show he will sit through for me it is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!Stan got a motorcycle last year as well and he loves giving the girls rides! He also hot a cable car because we went to San Francisco over spring break! This summer we spent a family vacation in a cabin in Idaho with my family! We went to Bear World while we there and had an amazing time!
We can't wait to see what next year brings.....
